This sends a command from Outlook to the POP3 mail server instructing it to delete downloaded messages. When you connect from your third computer, your email messages are downloaded to Outlook and deleted from the server because the Leave a copy of messages on the server check box isn’t selected in the account setup on the third computer.
When you connect from your second computer, your email messages are downloaded to Outlook.ģ. Also, working with shared IPs, it cannot guarantee a good deliverability for your emails (that is, a number of your messages will simply rejected by antispam filters and get lost without you even knowing).By default, when you retrieve new messages from a POP3 email account, the messages are deleted from the POP3 mail server and then saved on the computer that you are using. In fact, a normal outbound service like Comcast’s SMTP server puts a limit to the number of people you can send the same email to (in order to deter spammers), and to the number of single emails you can send per day.
